AAt the start of 2024, SMC and Gelatin Labs connected to discuss joining forces to offer drop box services at SMC in Madison, NJ. Early on, we knew that we wanted to create a seamless experience that intuitively communicated the ordering process.

This kicked off a multi-month collaborative redesign process, spearheaded by Gelatin Labs, to develop an all new design that was functional, informative, and adaptive to individual spaces.

Fast forward to install day, Ben and his father Doug, the founders of Gelatin Labs, arrived to SMC to install the drop box themselves — The first of the newly designed drop boxes. Fittingly, the drop box was transported in Doug’s C8 Audi RS6. We love to see it.

Sunday Motor Co. and Gelatin Labs, both founded in 2018, have been family-owned and operated since day one — built by the enthusiast, for the enthusiast. Since then, both have developed strong communities, not mutually exclusive to each other. In fact, a sizable number of the SMC community are avid film enthusiasts, including our own team, and both Ben and Doug are what we like to call Autophiles™ — come to an SMC event, and there’s a good chance you’ll see them.
